In York County—where most high schools (like Dallastown, Central York, and York Suburban) have early fall yearbook deadlines—planning ahead is the only way to ensure you get the location and the light you want.
Here is the ideal timeline to keep your senior year stress-free.
Spring of Junior Year (March – May)
The Research Phase

Late Summer (August)
The Deadline Check

I recommend booking 3-4 months in advance. If you want an October date, you should be reaching out in July.
What if we miss the yearbook deadline?
We can still take beautiful portraits! We just might not be able to get the "official" headshot in the book. You’ll still have the images for announcements, your home, and social media.
