Services

Charlie-Roe Photography provides professional photography services in York, PA and surrounding areas.

Booking & Payment

Booking is confirmed when the retainer is paid. Paying it means you accept the terms shown at checkout.

Most sessions require a 30% retainer to hold your date.

A 30% retainer is due at booking and holds your date. It is non-refundable. The balance is due on or before the day of the shoot unless the invoice says otherwise.

Portfolio Downloads

Portfolio downloads may require a valid email submission for delivery tracking. Marketing consent is optional. Download access may be limited until a valid email is provided for galleries configured with email capture.

Copyright and Image Use

I retain copyright of all photographs I create, which is standard for professional photography. The licence above is a grant of use, not a transfer of copyright.

Portrait sessions

Family, maternity, newborn, and senior sessions come with a personal use license. You can download, print, and share your images for personal use, forever.

Commercial and event work

Event coverage, corporate headshots, personal brand sessions, and any work commissioned by a business or organisation.

You are licensed to use the delivered images for marketing, web, print, and social use. The licence is non-exclusive and does not expire. There is no per-image charge and no usage fee at delivery.

Payment of the invoice constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the scope described on it.

Portfolio

I may use images from the shoot in my portfolio, on charlieroephotography.com, and on social media. If you would rather I did not, say so and I will not. There is no deadline on that and no reason needed.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Portrait sessions

Reschedule 72 or more hours before your session and your retainer carries forward, one time, free. Inside 72 hours the retainer is forfeit and a new one is needed to rebook. Any amount paid beyond the retainer is refunded if you cancel 72 or more hours out. Severe weather always means a free reschedule.

Commercial and event work

Reschedule 7 or more days out and your retainer carries forward, one time, free. Inside 7 days there is a $75 fee. Day-of counts as a cancellation and a new retainer is required. Any amount paid beyond the retainer is refunded if you cancel 7 or more days out.
